Congressman Ralph Regula Canalway Center

The Congressman Ralph Regula Canalway Center – a 4,300-square-foot hall overlooking Sippo Lake – features 11 fascinating interactive displays designed to both attract the tech-savvy younger generation and to create pride in our local heritage and knowledge about how the canal of yesteryear influenced our county's growth and success.

View a brief video created by GlenOak High School students. Pretend you're captaining a canal boat. Learn the history of three Stark County legends: Henry and Tim Timken, Henry Belden, and Congressman Ralph Regula. Take a virtual tour of the Canalway by bicycle, car, or railroad. Place wildlife in their appropriate habitats. And so much more.

Free child admission (12 and under) with a paid adult admission ($1) for Stark County residents and $3 adult admission and $1 for children for non-Stark County residents.  Families who hold family memberships with the Friends of Stark Parks will be admitted free of charge. A special $1 per student rate is available for school groups. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in the exhibit hall.

Hours of Operation:

Tuesday - Friday, 10am-4pm

Saturday, 10am-2pm
